Many moons ago in a previous life i used to sell these in a haberdashers and I seem to remember a shop in Wembley London which is still around doing these. They are called blands. Here is their website http://www.blands.co.uk/ but give them a call. They usually can source things pretty well.

Sadly my shop shut down and all the bits in it was carted off to a museum including the old fashioned till with a string and a bucket to send the money into the back office. Blands though seem to still be there!

Is it the old fashioned brushed nylon stuff youre looking for?

BHS had some reduced, also some nice bed jackets suitable for hospital, when I was last in the local store. There are limited ones on the website, but more in the store.
