    One option is this company

    http://www.bundlebox.com

You register (for free) then you get a US PO Box address which any US purchases can get sent to then any purchases you make are shipped to your home address for a fee that includes duty and VAT.

It was in an '8 websites we worship' feature in this months Glamour magazine.

Just to let you know that Peacocks don't stock this sort of thing. You'd be better of trying their sister company Bon Marche.

Heehee! Didn't think of that :D

Seriously, thanks for the replies but I have tried just about all of the
    links.
And just chatting to a friend who tells me they mostly make you
get dressed in hospital now so I will only need a nightie for sleeping -
unless I am expecting a dishy doc to wander by during the night

If they make you get dressed then a good option is to buy cheap jogging bottoms and slim fit t-shirts. I would highly recommend it.

Depends where you are I guess - I spent quite a lot of time in hospital last year, and none of the people on the wards I was on got dressed during the day. I just took pjs - took one nightie - but was a bit paranoid about the sheets slipping off - so soon changed back to PJs. Different hospitals have different ideas though - the ones near you may encourage people to get dressed.
  • Try the Co-Op they have very similar to the ones you want in stock

JD Williams mail order used to do nylon ones.

I found them very useful in hospital because it made sliding in and out of bed much easier.......

Cotton nightie + cotton sheet = hard to slide
Nylon nightie + cotton sheet = slippy sliding much easier

Mind you, I was very, very heavy at the time so that might have been the reason, since my gastric bypass op (and losing weight) I now wear cotton ones :rotfl:

    Says polyester - any good?
