Bank of Scotland Secure - Muck Up!

Sorry if this is the wrong section - I couldn't see the correct place to put this.
My wife made a payment on Next this morning with my bank card. She got an error message stating that the bank could not authorise the payment and to try again. She did this again and got the same message, but now, two payments for the same amount have come out the bank to Next.
Am I best taking this up with the bank or Next?

Get in touch with the bank and see if they can explain what happened. It sounds like a fault with their processing system. Shouldn't be too hard to get it sorted out though. Bank of Scotland's Banking Services number is 08457 20 30 40.Getting married 02.08.14

I would suggest contacting Next as I suspect it is their (or their payments agency) website that has caused the confusion.
Next should either accept that they have received payment twice for the same order, or at worst claim you duplicated the order. Don't forget you are protected by distance selling regs so you can cancel any order you don't want if necessary & you act quickly."Now to trolling as a concept. ....
