There are so many websites to look at.. IE http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=165723

Just for a benchmark price look at https://www.travelsupermarket.com click on flights..

Though depending on your time frame i would go for a around the world ticket as normally a ticket to NZ will be about 650 plus though for a bit more you can get one of travelmoods (https://www.travelmood.com) special offers for about 700 which will give you the stop you want plus a stop in HongKong and La on the way home.

Infact just looked now its 699 all taxes the lot though set travel dates of between 01 Nov - 30 Nov 06 route is London - Hong Kong - Auckland -
Los Angeles - London though note you have to get from Auckland to Wellington though they could sort you a deal as they did for me last time.

Note with travelmood i have found that if you dont quote the offer, ie from a paper website they will quote you alot higher price..

As a rule when you post your dates of travel, from and to where and length of stay and normally somone will try to help.

https://www.thegreatescapade.com is an interesting RTW ticket.

I'd decide when you want to go and where you want to stopover, then take it from there.
