Choosing a conveyancing solicitor
Comments
-
seeing 1000 conveyancing clients a year, we know what they want. service. i.e value for money
too many firms compete on price and so cut corners to keep in business.
we compete on service.
more hours than 9-5, never closed during lunch, a qualified conveyancer acts (solicitor mainly), go that extra mile outside hours and emails at w/e, no hidden charges, no website to update you but personal emails calls etc, and a w/e update by email so you can enjoy it.
texting a client is a cheap frill, and a poor substitute for proper updating.
oh and we prsent solutions to any issue so as to keep the conveyancing prompt. not to mention our paperwork and how we present it is 110%.
has to be in this climate. most lawyers do not, so we get a bigger share of the market as a result. My posts are just my opinions and are not offered as legal advice - though I consider them darn fine opinions none the less.:cool2:
My bad spelling...well I rush type these opinions on my own time, so sorry, but they are free.:o0 -
1) recommendations from friends and local firms that I see nearby
2) How they dealt with my initial enqiry, easy to get hold of, If they have dealt with people I know before
3) If the service was great, having 2 people deal with my enquiry like a PA and solicitor so I am able to get hold of someone. I'd rather have someone who know me then someone different each time. I'd recommend people if they done a good job and offering disounts and a gift would be a bonus.
4) Great customer service, keeping me informed either trhough emails or telephone calls
5) Someone who is professional, keeps me updated and gives good customer service

Btw the OP is allowed to ask questions I'm sure if you were at university once you'd understand that some of these things can be a help. Leave her alone Eric and g_m0 -

I am allowed to be a cynic.
Anyone is allowed to say she is a student and ask others to take part in a marketing survey, for example about gifts from solicitors.
You are free to spend your time as you please.
