DIY ethernet cable

i remember having to terminate so many network cables and the messing about the proper tools will save you in the long run is worth the spending money on, however if your tool breaks, or you cant afford one, then you can bodge it with a srewdriver.
i remember once going to a site in scotland and having to terminate a good 100+ cables, tool broke, it was 9pm and the boss was barking to get it finished so we could scarper. lol, nothing like a bit of pressure eh lol.0 -

Me personally, the equipment I used when making a cable was
a) ethernet stripper
b) 2x RJ45's
c) Ethernet crimper
d) Ethernet/RJ45 tester
The local trade around your area may also be able to provide you with 30m of ethernet. Id get a strong looking one, because it can be a PITA to make a new cable!0
