I've posted a similar message before and didn't get a reply so would be really grateful if someone could shed some light on this.
A debt agency offered me a 'deal' where I paid x amount of my bill and they would write off the rest. So I agreed to this - the money I paid was a hefty chunk all at once - and now they're hassling me saying they made a mistake and want more.
From my point of view they struck a verbally binding agreement with me and now won't leave me alone! I'm disgusted by this as I had to sacrfirice a lot the month I paid this card off when I could have stuck to my direct debit agreement.
Should I pay? Will I have to pay? Help!
