Morning all :-) hi Dilli *waves*

Well what a great start to the morning, just pulled out a plate and the whole shelf fell down, one of the little plastic things that holds it in the kitchen cabinet is broken. Have bodged it with a screw but now have plates everywhere (whole and pieces) They can bloody well stay there as well!! Am going to ignore them til later and get on with what I am supposed to be doing! Just waiting for the daylight to reach this room so I can take some pics.

Kick for mummyandP if you want one hun!

Well done on the 3k Nikki-thats brill!!!

LOL - the sales pitch is currently on about 30 words - despite me spending nearly 4 hours writing and rewriting the thing :( It made me realise I havent a clue what I want it to say other than our new pricing structures and that the work is for PHP / Mysql work and all SEO is quoted based on a contract rate.

Craptastic about the shelving! Other than the plates being injured - you didn't hurt yourself did you?

NLID - if I get stuck on writing something sometimes I go and read sales pitches for people in a similar field. Not to copy but just to make sure that I am on the right track. I would say get a second opinion but step away from it. If you have been working on it for 4 hours no wonder you are stuck. Switch tasks for a while and come back to it later.

Try looking at it from the other direction - if you were a potential client, what would you be looking for? What would you want to see? What would make you consider using a company?

I have tried this - and if it was me I would be looking for price and experience.

Putting the price down on paper is easy as pie, its talking about what I want to be talking about - the money a project is going to make me, which always comes after a description of work. However writing sales pitch about experience is a tad difficult :(
