You're right - I think they're taking advantage of the clocks changing :) They're cheeky little things! I'm going to have to go back out there in a bit and try to herd them in! It's very odd.

Em maybe as nights start getting lighter they naturally stay awake longer. Its only us that says its 9.30. To them it is just the same as it was at 8.30 yesterday. would they normally go to bed at 8.30??
Maybe so I don't know. Hope you manage to get them in. maybe spring is making them a bit frisky and they fancied skinny dipping in the dark!!!!

I think it might've thrown them somehow but they usually go to bed as soon as it gets dark and that's been no later than 7:15 really - we've just had to herd them in and it's 10pm! I've never known them to stay out after dark before. I know what you're saying but i'm judging it on darkness rather than time. They're in now, safe and sound :D I think you're right that it is more that they fancied skinny dipping :rotfl:- how nice to be young and romantic!

I'm getting very worried - my ducks won't go to bed :( i've tried to chase them in but they're getting stressed. They usually put themselves in bed when it gets dark, but they're having a swim!!!

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:sorry, but I found that really funny thinking of you running around the garden trying to herd ducks :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I echo the others though - is it Summer Time related? (Please bare in mind I know absolutely nothing about keeping ducks :rotfl::rotfl:)

oooh - could you have edible merkins???:eek: sorry random thought as I was going to pass a comment about not dreaming about merkins after I had typed sweet dreams but instead had a vision of those edible necklaces/bracelets and whic in turn led to merkins!! :rotfl:

Maybe they've been reading fairytales and are wondering what might happen if they stay awake after dark!!
