Toots I love it!! I actually did a tree last year and it worked but want to try something different this year (and it was different to that) - if only it wasn't raining then I would go and collect twigs and try a variation on this.......hmmmmm

Best I can come up with is toilet roll/ kitchen roll tube with slits round base to spread out for attaching to cap. paint it brown and use green tissue paper lots of rolled up to make the top of it. or 2 cloud shaped green pieces of card attached front and back to toilet roll tube.
also found this which could be adapted.
or there is the rolled up newspaper where you cut it and then kind of telescope it up to make a palm tree but maybe on a smaller scale.

hmmmm no good at easter hats lol, however I did once turn my son into a walking scarecrow lol

pacing and wanting to hear back on this new job tomorrow lol. although it is initially for a 6-9 mont contract, it has every possibility of going perm especially if I prove them that they really do need me. I think it would to be honest and even it if doesnt I would make in 6 months what I will make in 12 months at the other one which is also temp.

Also have emailed the little caravan site about missy, so keeping fingers crossed they will consider her, even told them I was happy to sign something to state that I did not want the full deposit back just to reassure them she would be no bother. If they wont do it, will have to look elsewhere. Either way, I have to find something and fairly fast.

so, how is everyone else tonight. Me, I am just chilling now, will do the pots as well in a little bit! Ok, and I am a wee bit bored tonight as well....

Hi all :) I hope you're all ok?
Just an hour or so to catch up today, loving all the techie stuff although i don't have a clue what it all means! Welcome NLID, glad you've settled in so well - the power of the merkin!
I'm tired this evening so will be listening from the sidelines xxx
P.s Paula - can't remember if i said but everyone at work loves my sulkies, they've been proper manhandled! i'm letting them know that they too can order some :) just wondering - are they weatherproof? maybe you could do some for the garden to sit on plant pots or something? and some sulkie fairies? just a thought.
    Night night all x
p.p.s. Jo i tried to dedicate that 'here comes the sun' song to you on facebook but it didn't work :( that's a fab song, thanks for adding it x

    And then do it.

or use same idea for trunk but then for canopy cut another tube up into lots of narrow circles. cover each one in different shades of tissue paper. lie them flat on the floor next to each other and arrange into a top of tree shape and attach together using double sided sticky tape or strong glue or glue dots. then attach to top of trunk.
don't make canopy to big or it will flop around.
something similar here but painted instead of tissue paper and you wouldn't want as many.
