Exactly, HSBC assign you a number on the first Monday of every month. This is known as your Behaviour Score. The higher your BS is the more facilities that can be offered to you.Bank Accounts - Barlcays Premier[/B] - £1000 o/d, HSBC - £200 o/d- First Direct - £500
Credit Cards - Barclaycard £2000 - Silver Card £1300 - Flybe £7500 - HSBC £1000 - First Direct £2500 First Direct Gold £3000

Thanks thats useful to know. Would that have started when I joined (about 10 years ago) or when I took out the student account? I guess I could also make regular payments on my overdraft in that period of time increasing it further (plus it would be nice to start the course with the full overdraft available).0 -

I have plenty of money - I just had a 500 pound overdraft sitting there doing nothing so I thought I might as well use it!0 -

If you got the cash, top your account up and bring it into a positive balance. Then go into branch and apply for the Student card
