Best place to buy dense concrete blocks?

Hi guys,
I'm informed we need to buy a couple of pallets of dense concrete blocks. Best price so far is ebay, at £125ish delivered.

Just thought I'd get OH to hold off til the morning while I asked if anyone knew anywhere cheaper?

Thanks guys, I can't find the ebay link atm, it's on his (new) account which I'll be damned if I can remember the password for. Does that sound like a good price?

No idea, but as a guide Wickes will sell you them at 96p each if you buy 72 so how does that compare with Ebay.

Just go to your local builders merchant. They should be around £7 - £9 per square metre. There is 8.8 square metres to a pallet (88 blocks). Therefore worst case scenario £9 per metre x 8.8 (one pallet) = £79.20 for the pallet. Depending on quantity you wont be charged delivery, even if you are it will be a nominal fee of £10 or £20 something like that. Just to be clear that is £20 delivery charge for the whole delivery not per pallet.Hope this helps
