Life insurance (i know its macabre) but if one of you died would there be enough funds for a funeral) sh..t happens.

If you have sky tv you get free basic broadband.
You can have a basic package for about £18, worth it if youre going to pay more than that for your broadband package alone.

Will you have a land line.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

    List looks good.

Remember to include rental of a telephone line under utilities.

Out of all the bills, rent and council tax are likely to be comfortably the biggest so make sure you know exactly what they are.

You are likely to have to pay between 4-6 weeks rent as a deposit before moving in, a month's rent in advance, and estate agent fees when arranging the rental. That might all add up to the equivalent of up to 3 month's rent payable before you move in.

When you are looking for a place you will most likely be credit checked. If you don't yet have any credit history at all, it might be helpful to start building one up.
  • We will look for a flat with a landline yes, but we will only have that in place for the broadband, we wouldnt use a home phone to, we just use mobiles for now, and bt line rental is around 11.00 a month, then 02 broadband in 7.99 a month, so not to bad, we will just have freeveiw in the flat to begin with, even though tv lisencing is a !!!!! lol
