Halifax Credit Card Balance Transfers

Hi,

I have 2 Halifax credit cards with a balance of £1500 on each. I applied for a Santander Zero credit card with a 0% balance transfer for 12 months. However, Santander have only given me a £500 limit therefore I am unable to transfer my halifax card balances to it. (they will not increase my limit for 4 months!)

Just wondering, is it worth me speaking to Halifax to try and transfer the balances onto the one card with a lower rate of interest.? Or am I pushing my luck!?

Any advice would be very much appreciated

Thanks
