Success at last - Barclaycard, my OFT Complaint and my PPI Refund

Well it looks as though my unexpected pregnancy is bringing me good luck!!
Firstly, I wrote to Natwest to reclaim my PPI and received an offer in the post yesterday to refund the whole lot, knocking £3,000 off my DMP and wiping out my Natwest loan
Secondly, because I was getting nowhere with Barclaycard acknowledging my DMP, I complained about them to the OFT and today, I received a letter from Barclaycard.
They say that, whilst they do not appear to have received Payplan's offer, they can see that on numerous occasions I have given my Payplan details and that they have been accepting my payment through them since December 2009 and that someone should have picked it up.
They are refunding £36 in late payment charges and ALL interest that has been accruing on my account since December 2009 - approx £550!
They have forwarded the Payplan arrangement to the relevant department and I will be receiving a letter confirming the plan is accepted shortly.
How fabulous is that??
I'm so thrilled and am totally hi-fiving myself for my efforts
WHAT A WEEK IT'S BEEN!

Hun I am SOOOOOO pleased for you :j:j.
After the stress you were feeling at the beginning of the week, it's all turning around.
So I guess the DMP/baby thing is looking more manageable now?
Big hugs to you .... now take advantage of your OH & tell him you're craving a big fat hug! :cool:LBM:FEB 2008
