Can't use Nationwide Card overseas

Anyone else get a letter from Nationwide talking about the introduction of their Cashcard+ from June?

After beginning the letter with "At Nationwide we're always looking to improve our products to meet our customers needs......" and so therefore are introducing Cashcard+

they move on to say "please note that your new card cannot be used to withdraw cash overseas".

I thought the relatively cheap overseas withdrawals was one of Nationwide's big selling points? I can't see that they have much else going for them.

Edit: Read up on this more and it appears to apply to the Nationwide Cashcard but not the Visa Debit.
