Halifax Ultimate Reward Account

I applied online and recieved a letter today saying my application was successful, and I needed to send two original forms of ID and also credit the account with £100 for it to have the debit card sent out.
Now I'm popping into a local branch next week to give them the necessary ID to fax off as I can't be without my passport, and was going to credit the account with £100 then.
However, the only thing that concerns me is what for any reason they turn the account down, what happens to the £100? Or am I guaranteed the account now I have applied and had the successful letter?
Thanks for any advice

Im thinking of getting this acount and have read their T+C's and the ID is so they can do the Visa Debit card - the £100 needs to be in the account for 24 hours prior to them giving you the card - you have been accepted so I wouldnt worry0

How long after you applied did you recieve the letter out of interest.
I wanted to plan when to apply so I can arrange my wages etc to be switched, and also arange their switching0 -
I think it was Monday I applied. I added the account to my online banking with my existing Halifax account, the £100 guaranteed overdraft was already there and available to use which was a bit strange too, considering they haven't had my ID or card sent yet!0
