How is the box connected at the moment? If it's just by scart then no, you won't notice a difference since scart can only carry SD pictures.
Shouldn't you have had a HDMI lead supplied with the HD box?0 -

yes i think its just scart leads.
we are getting new hd box from sky on the 26th march im not sure they will provide the hdmi lead?? so i was going to buy 1.
the reason we got hd channels already is because we brought a second hand box before i got the deal thru sky (deal was free hd box, free install and free hd channels for 12mths) pretty good deal so will sell my old hd box after sky fitted new one.have now given up smoking since feb 13th 2014 loving the money I'm saving0 -
As above, you need a hdmi lead (and a tv to cope with HD):idea:0

Don't be fooled by HDMI leads that are supposed to be better with gold ends,it's a myth.I went into my local electronics shop and he said he could sell me a gold one for more money but there is no difference. He made me a lead up for £1.50 and it is fine.0
