Faulty Mobile Phones.....

:confused: Why do people pay so much for a faulty/broken phone on eBay? I can't believe how much people are paying for phones which are clearly described as faulty.

The other day I searched 'faulty' and 'mobile' and found quite a few going for £20-£30 plus postage.

People seem to like buying broken things on eBay.

If you look through the other items they buy it's usually parts or other faulty items. Same happened when I sold my sons water damaged PS2 and gameboy SP. Both went for over half what a GWO one would.
One day I might be more organised...........

  • alot of the time they want them just for the screens as these are very expensive to replace if they get broken. Mine got broken on my old phone, it was going to be £65 for it replacing....so i didn't bother.

You can sometimes get bargains though. If the fault is described sometimes it's something that is easy to fix. Like, I got a motorola v3 for £30, it was water damaged but from the description it was pretty obvious that all it needed was a new battery.
