    clio 2002 1.5 diesel
turn key and red light either flashes very fast or stays on solid
either way when it does this it dosnt start
    no engine turnover nothing
sometimes it will go after a few times of trying other times takes over half an hr by which time ive sometimes rung the aa

it has been into local garage for sevice and a look. it took 3 days before it did it for them.
they say immobiliser problem and it needs to go to renault garage which sounds expensive

it dosnt do it all the time but it makes me nervous as i drive a small child around and drive to hospital every day

    1) Put key in ignition and turn to position one
    2) disconnect battery
    3)Re-connect battery
    4)Remove ignition key
    5) Lock car a wait a few minutes.
    This should reset the immobiliser.
