We have been quoted £100 for a replacement thermocouple for our gas back boiler. This includes parts and labour. Is this a reasonable quote or could we get it done cheaper?

Depends which back boiler you have. Newer baxi's have to have a complete assembly fitted, older ones and other makes can have just the thermocouple replaced.
My charge for a standard one would be £60 call out for the first hour or part of, plus £5 parts all plus VAT, so that is not far out.0 -
Thanks for the response. Its a New World stowaway, older model (not sure how old).0

those parts are dirt cheap, so its really all labour cost.
