Help needed with Flat Management Company Issues

I wonder the feasibilty of trying to find an agent willing to take on a block of four flats. We all own an equal share of the freehold through the Management Company.

I also wonder if anyone had any idea of what the costs would be for an agent to do this?

I think the time has come to appoint an agent as a couple of us are fed up with the mess up with various owners/Directors who have taken this role on over the years.

You probably won't find a managing agent to take you on if there are arrears on any of the service charge accounts, or if there are disputes over what works need doing. Prices vary widely across the country, you are going to have to get quotes!! Many charge as a percentage but I suspect with a small property that will not be financially viable and they will want a lump sum each year. Might be cheaper to appoint a caretaking company.

No dispute/s but there have been arrears but all paid up to date now. From what I have learned it looks like there will be a fixed sum cost and I have a few possible agents to call but have no idea what to expect.

Now who was it said "expect the unexpected"
