Cheap Pots and Containers
Hello all,
As its almost the start of spring I thought it was about time to sort the garden out and plant some flowers and ideally some veg and herbs. I was thinking of getting some pots (plastic is fine) for the decking and driveway, but does anyone know of where I am get some cheap ones? I've checked my local Morrisons and they don't have any so does anyone know of anywhere else?
Was also thinking of getting of those mini plastic greenhouses to help things along. Do they work, would people recommend them and again know of anywhere reasonable to get one from?
Thanks for all your help

Wilkinsons, poundland, asda, lidl etc all seem to have cheap plastic pots.

Wilko do 3 or 4 different mini-greenhouses very cheaply, and they are excellent. I bought a 4-shelf one this week for a tenner and have started growing my vegetable seeds in them in trays and pots.
You can make your own free pots for this with newspaper -

B&M sell mini greenhouses and coldframes. I bought one of each, the cold frame was 6.99 I put it together last week, its really quite large. I have used both of these things before in my other house and they work really well. The only thing you need to do on sunny days is make sure you ventilate them by undoing the zips a bit, as if it gets too much condensate you have conditions for grey mould and the plants rot. Make sure you put them in a sheltered spot in terms of winds, and peg them down. One of mine became damaged a couple of years ago when we had gales. You can also buy replacement covers, but make sure you get a common sized one. I bought an extra wide one a few years ago and when I needed a new cover they werent the right size.0
