Requested ppi back from 2 loans I had with Lloyds, after 10 days they agreed to pay back on one loan, but today after 2 weeks they have said they havent mis sold the second loan.
Bit confused as my reasons for mis selling the ppi was the same for both loans, except that when I took the first one out (which they have upheld) was the loan was restructured cos of financial problems and I was off work sick with stress at the time.
So on both loans I was covered for sickness by work (nhs), and had pre existing medical condition stress, and in fact as I pointed out when I took loan 2 out I was under the hsopital with liver/gall stones so I still wouldnt be covered for medical conditions.
So I cannt understand why they have agreed to loan 1 and not 2.
Can anybody help.

Hi Michelle
How strange.
I would write back and tell them your reasons were the same for the reclaim they upheld.
(the only thing I can think of is that the conditions of the loan ppi were different on the earlier or later one etc), but that surely should not make any difference really.
First of all was this the final response?
Even if it was I would write back and tell them you believe it was not fully investigated and you are requesting they take another look.

Hi Di
The letter does say final response but it just seems weired as my reasons are the same they are refusing one and not the other.
You would think that as I was off sick with loan one it would make the selling of the ppi on loan 2 a joke as no way would i be able to claim on it. But thats Lloyds
So do you think its worth sending another letter to Lloyds or fos0 -

I would personally write to LLoyds again and ask them to reconsider, with 2 of ours in Jan LLoyds did give the final decision but I made a few points to them and asked them to reconsider anyway, but given them 14 days, then if I did not hear by then - then move on to the FOS, but make sure they enclose the details of the FOS with the final letter first.
Defo write to them and tell them you believe they missed some points on your complaint. The one and only "Dizzy Di"
