Do Not Throw out you leaking Brita Filter Kettle!!

Hi All,

Thought I share the experience about my leaking Brita Filter Kettle, because one of my friends threw one in the bin cos it leaked before the warranty ran out.

Mine was given as a present a year and half ago. So no receipt and back then I threw the box away but it is still under 2 years warranty. The kettle is still in very good condition , apart from that it leaks!!!

I went to Brita website and email customer services about the problem blar blar blar... Surprisingly, I was asked to give the model number of the faulty product and was informed they will get a replacement kettle out to me. In return they ask me to return the faulty kettle in the prepaid box. Wey hey. money saved from buying a new one!!!

So,...If you don't ask you don't get! and don't throw your Brit Filter Kettle out if it under warranty.

Well done for your efforts, however.........you should get a replacement anyway if its under warranty.

It was pot luck really, just to see what kind of response I get. At the end of the day its not a cheap Kettle. I just thought the manufacturer would fob me off, and say take it to back to the retailer, and if you don't have a receipt then tough luck luv!
