MBNA refusing to give back £12 charges

Hi

Sent first template letter to MBNA Virgin to reclaim £12 cc charges. Had a long letter today "we have always set out precisely our charges blah blah blah we do not feel it appropriate to to make any refund and enclose our leaflet "Our Commitment to you."

Has anyone reclaimed charges of £12 late payments and overlimit fees? Or can they legally charge £12 as it was reduced to this amount.

Thanks
:D

Successfully claimed so far:
Co-op Credit card £75.00
Cap One £200 for O/H
Barclaycard: £108
RBS: £290
Cap One: £126
HSBC: £338.50 for daughter.

They can be legally challenged and they WILL refund them.

  • Thank you. I'll send second template letter and see what happens. Has anyone else been successful in claiming back £12 charges with Virgin (MBNA)?
