Even if travel insurance is included in packaged bank accounts you still have to declare medical conditions, and it is possible that you will either be declined cover or will have to pay extra. I am not sure any bank offers free Worldwide travel insurance. Alliance and Leicester used to, but now it's Europe only.

    hi carl

i cant be sure but most if not all current accounts that offer benefits such as travel insurance you have to pay a monthly fee also i dont think if you already have a medical condition you are garenteed to get the insurance you would probably have to look it to that

Halifax have free worldwide cover - including skiing - with the URCA account. I've got one and claimed before and it went through absolutely fine. Again though you do have to declare any conditions and pay a yearly suppliment for them.
Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....
  • thank you for the replies the Halifax looks very good, i will look in to this and see if tablets for high blood pressure affect it in any way
