Thanks for replies everyone. Have emailed our MP and the CEO of Monarch Airlines.

Still no info at the mo. Feel like crying TBH, it´s a lovely hotel but with the threat of having to pay over a thousand Euro hotel bill we can´t relax.:(

Thanks so much to Browntoa for the very useful pm, much appreciated info. x

It must be a nightmare being stuck out there and not knowing whats happening re your costs. It does seem as if you should be ok now and I hope its sorted out quickly.

I have just heard from Gambia Experience who I booked the holiday with and they say I can re book anytime including when they start them again from Manchester in November onwards:j:j I don't know other peoples experience in getting through to holiday companies, but Gambia Experience have been brilliant, answering the phone quickly and helpful. I would recommend them to anyone thinking of a trip to Gambia.
Coupon Mad will hopefully be ok as BBC News has just said that if your in Europe then the Airlines are liable for all your costs.:D

Really pleased for you, to hear that you haven't lost out on your lovely prize holiday. :)

no prob until today if you count the fact that after ticking the remember me box I couldn't log out (no matter what i tried, despite advice from VC and others) to let my friend use my comp to create a user name/post etc then today for no reason I came onto this thread and it would not let me log on even though I was using the right user name/password and after 5 attempts it shut me out for 15 mins - then I chose forgotten password and got an e-mail with new password but every time I send a pm or use the quote button it logs me out and I have to keep logging back in - and no I didn't tick remeber me again so that i can let my friend use my comp
I have been thanking but am not sure if it is showing so please don't think I do not appreciate all of your posts because I do :D

    Great thread!!

Tried to use the Dove roll on BOGOF voucher at a little boots store. SA was scrutinizing it and said what is this for, when does it expire and tried searching for the expiry date until i showed here it was still in use and was asked where did i get it from, then she tried it and said it didn't work and was going to call over the other lady but she was busy helping a customer and i said it doesnt matter and left them there as i knew it did work and wanted them for 12p or so like i know many others having been getting them for!!

So any advice where to actually use these vouchers? Hopefully where the SA will just scan it and not look at them in great depth!!!

    TIA x

    No probs using at Tesco
  • I had a £1 moc for Sure or Dove deodorants today, which included the Go-Fresh Dove. Went to Sainsbury where the spray is on offer at 99p. The best kind of goods are the ones they pay you to take away.:D
