Had a very good shop today. On entering Tesco I checked with a supervisor that I could use my £10 conditional spend Waitrose Voucher and was told "no, they had stopped taking them, now only taking Sainsburys". Obviously I wasn't too happy.

Anyway I proceeded to shop and at the checkout I handed over the coupons for which I had purchased the items. The young female SA said she didn't think they were taking coupons but would check. Along came a different supervisor to the one I had originally asked about the Waitrose voucher. She told the SA that they would take one of each of all coupons and two if I had bought the product (back to the good old days) so I promptly took out some more coupons I had held back (because I hadn't bought the product) and handed them over together with my Waitrose voucher. She took them all and my bill was reduced by £29.90 so I was really pleased.:T I don't think Tesco have changed their policy, I just think I was lucky to get a Supervisor who was just not up to speed with it!

I would point out however, I handed over a couple of the Supersavvyme coupons (Ariel, Fabreze and Fairy) and these would not scan because I had not bought the product and so Tesco have obviously got these logged as one of their's.

For those of you that like the Hartleys Low Calorie Jelly on page one they are on offer at Morrisons BOGOF (.59p) so if you use x 2 of the mocs off page 1 thats just .9p for 2 pots.

spotted this on hotukdeals so not sure what date the offer ends.

Doesn't work on my Morris :(. The stupid girl called the supervisor & said I don't think we should accept these (4 coupons) as the jelly are already on offers. Told her never mind just take it all off my shopping! and pay the rest. Only go to morris on things that are on offers.
