    Re Hovis courier deliveries.
They're sending it with Home Delivery Network, so watch out for a HDNL van.
(Word of subjective warning... they're kind of the low-rent couriers who have a bad reputation of throwing things over garden fences & the like if you're out.)

Had 1 today. Door bell rang, and looked out the window to see a grumpy sod, huffing and puffing storming towards the van then coming back in a frenzy coz he expected us to be stood at the front door all day waiting for him, and open it within 2 seconds. Could not believe how impatient some of these ple are including one of the local postmen. Y do they bother to take this job on if they have no patience. feel sorry for the older folk ...
Bless hubby he was running down with the front door keys as fast as he cud.......

On a positive note, this was a pleasant surprise, and the bread tasted gud too...

Mine was left behind a plantpot despite the packaging specifically saying "please leave safe do not card" then they had put a card through the letter box saying where it was also on the card they put a comment about trying to pick up a camera on behalf of Tesco which was supposed to have been picked up/delivered yesterday, when someone waited in all day, and due to them not turning up have had to reschedule for Saturday:mad:

Must say the bread lookes nice, not tried yet though.

think most of you must be in bed now, I just had a call for "mums taxi" so when I drop my son home I'll just call in and see what mocs and freebies are there for me. :-))

The man who delivered my bread was very nice, despite it taking me ages to get to the door because I am disabled. When I said I couldn't believe they sent a van to deliver a loaf of bread and was a bit embarrassed he said " don't worry about it, it's keeping me in a job". Thanks.
