Now £6 wys £30 i'm just printing 62 x Bleach (last day today folks)

    62 x 49p = £30.38p - £6 wys £30 = £24.38p - 62 x 35p = £2.68p to pay and c/card points

A great plan and I hope it works out for you.

A few flaws in this plan for me though.

    1) I'm lucky if I can find more than 2 or 3 bottles in stock.
    2) There is no way my local would let me use that many mocs, even if I am buying the right item. :(
    3) If I did manage to get 62 bottles of bleach my OH would have a blue fit and then some. He thinks I have more than enough bleach, fabric conditioner and laundry gel, etc in his shed now. :rotfl:

The people on this thread have the cleanest loos in Britain! :rotfl::rotfl:

oh god I must be really mucky!

Mind you, loo cleaning is OH's responsibility so I will blame him & get him some coupons.

sniggers - I'm heading the same way with dove deodorants, dishwasher tablets, colgate toothpaste & tesco tomatoes all thanks to this website.

I can see my family having an intervention soon.

But this does raise a question to the forum if I can be so cheeky. What is your own personal limit for stocking up? Mine used to be 3 months supply but with all the lovely coupons on here it has increased to 12 months which even I am beginning to find a little bit crazy... I guess one person's acceptable level is another person's "odd". Again, no wish to offend anyone - just a nosy question from a self confessed hoarder.

I do sometimes just go over the reasons why its a good idea to buy so many packs of x at y price and store it with OH, if it is something I use lots of and would otherwise by buying at full price again soon.

I'd never buy more than I can use before it goes out of date, don't buy hoards of stuff I don't really use anyway and no more than I have room to store.

If there is a good deal on something I can make use of though, I'll get as much as possible without going overboard and without spending so much on the bargains that I'm eating too much into my budget for my "normal" shopping.

Admittedly we will be eating a fair few tomato based meals over the next couple of months.. can't think why... :rotfl:

It all depends :D - I ended up with about 2 years worth of dishwasher tabs last year and I have enough Rinse Aid, Dove Go Fresh roll on and deo and Dove +Men deo and shower gel to see us for aaaages, well over 2 years I would guess (If a supermarket is going to pay you to have something I think why not - it's money off the rest of my shop). I have plenty of Persil and Comfort (Again, I think if it's free get as many as you can) and probably 2 years of bleach from last time (I haven't bought any this time due to storage restrictions and there must be a limit on the amount of bleach one family needs :)).
I keep most of the bigger stuff up the loft of the garage and just bring it down as our stock in the house reduces. I have quite a lot of pasta sauce as that lasts for a while but Milka doesn't seem to last very long for some reason ;). I have had to restrict my printing of McCain Home Fries as the freezer is jammed full - I still have 1 coupon to use by the 13th and another 2 to print.
My OH sees the benefit of the coupons and shopping around but if I try to explain the reason behind some of the things I put in the trolley she 'glazes' over - I wonder what it's like to live with a coupon/bargain bore :rotfl:

All I can say is, I'm glad shower gel doesn't have an expirey date on it... :D

I still have a few bottles of Radox shower gel from some glitch from way back.. :o

My DD oftens points out that, in the event of war/seige/natural disaster, we would at least be clean and fresh to the end, even if we ran out of food.:rotfl:

If my OH gives me an aggro or pokes fun at my stash/coupon wallet I just politely ask if he'd like me to stop saving so much money and pay full price for everything. :D
