Seller's solicitors not answering questions, being unreasonable or just incompetent?

    Good for you and thanks for posting back.

    As I said earlier they’re either too lazy to provide answers, or hiding something. In the current market you’d have to be completely barmy to do anything that jeopardises your sale, and that’s exactly what these clowns have done.

    I hope you find something just as good, or perhaps better, very soon! :)

    Seems like you've had a lucky escape, well done for having the courage to pull out!

    As for whether the seller's solicitors were being "unreasonable or just incompetent" I'd say probably neither, they were just doing their job as instructed by their client - who on the other hand seem like they had something to hide.
