Just wondering can you claim housing benefit in Northern ireland when on this type of jobseekers allowance?
I get £64.30 a week thru this, i have no savings or any other income, live on my own and my rent is £90 per week. My allowance according to my postcode is £79.36 for a one bedroom house.

Your housing benefit doesn't go on which type of JSA you have on, it is based on your income and assets. Were you not advised to apply for any other benefits when you applied for JSA?Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0

Get your claim in asap! How many months have you been claiming JSA and not HB for, three? I'm not certain whether it can be back-dated but I dearly hope so for your sake0

Oh, I assumed that if you were going to be on contributions-based JSA till June that you had signed-on in January and may have been entitled to claim since then but had not. Luckily, that's not the case0
