Two Ebay Accounts

Hi
I have a Business account/shop on ebay, but also have some old clothes and baby things that I would like to get rid of.
Can I set up a second private account, and if so, can I use the same Paypal account as my business?

Yes, you can have 2 accounts on ebay.

Whether you want to use the same Paypal account or not is up to you. As long as you can keep the business and non-business transactions separate (so you don't et taxed for your personal sales) I don't see a problem.

The problem with more than one paypal account is you are only allowed 1 business/premeir account and one basic personal account plus a microaccount. As the basic one is pretty useless (you can;t accept CC payments or receive more than £500 (I could be out on this figure as it not easy to find on PP site) a month) its a bit useless.

I'd have though so, yes. Why would you allow personal sales go into your business bank account anyways??

because as Cyberbob says you can only have one of each type of paypal account, so if you wanted both the private and the business ebay accounts to have seperate paypal accounts you couldn't just have two premier accounts. You would need to faff around and upgrade the business one to a full business paypal account, and that can get complicated.
