hi,
i dont want to add to your worries but were you aware that you must inform the tax office of any bartering / work in kind etc: which they will attach a value to and tax you accordingly. on the plus side this may take you over the 30 hour limit? and give you a bit more tax credits.0 -
I have a debt relief order so am not allowed to earn more than £50 a week; I have tax credit to that amount. It seems we have put ourselves outside of the system by not using money as currency!!! and will be penalised for bartering. As my friend just said. ..is it worth all the hassle for £20 extra month...but it is ridiculous she should pay more for being generous and not asking for money from me.... eventually when business picks up I will be able to pay it all abck and more...but at the moment I only have skills to offer, which she says are worth more than money...
With DRO you can earn more than £50 per week, its your disposable income that mustnt exceed £500
