I was very pleased about the boots......it is several years since I had any, and I get very demoralised when I try and find some each winter. I wasn't looking for any today, but just happened to see them, try them, and voila!! Another thing off my capsule wardrobe listSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. Well done on the boots! :T It's the perfect time to buy them too.
I remember a very embarrassing experience years ago, where a shop man was so determined to sell me some boots in an upmarket shoe shop, that he got some string to thread throw the zipper and hoiked it up with all his might! He nearly burst a main artery and I was very red faced too. I'm surprised I could stand up as the blood flow had been totally cut off to my lower limbs, but undeterred - and being a total slave to fashion - I bought them! I still have them and love them (and they now zip up easily)

That's a fab story mac! I can just imagine you hobbling about in them for the sake of fashion :rotfl:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

Not so much hobbling - more marching like a soldier! Think Trumpton :rotfl:0

i think it is low blood pressure if anything ... when i get stressed or i injure myself my body just shuts down ... it goes kinda on a sleep mode type thing ... i havnt been sleeping much recently and that can cause dizzy spells also ... i will be ok taxi no worries there ... but you are totally right my health has to come first and that is why i am tackling things ..when i say i am ignoring them i dont mean like acting like they dont exist ... i mean more ok what is it lets look at it learn about it and deal with it my way before i go to the dr's ...
it could also be because i have slowed down ... i have just finished uni and college and working on the nature park ... yes ok i am dealing with the insurance etc but i have time to do that now .. and i have time to me now ... so maybe my body is just wondering what is going on .. as i say if i dont see an improvement soon i will go to the dr's honest (even though i dont really like going to the dr's)
Hi El, I would agree to have it checked out - though I know what you're saying about ignoring it. My Mum's a great one for batting things away and not focusing on them. If it becomes a big problem, she deals with it then. Very sensible.
I experienced a similar thing to you a few years ago. I was having dizziness and tingling/pins and needles down my left side. I was terrified and decided to wait and worry myself sick instead of going to the Doc's. When I eventually did go, it was nothing - just lack of sleep and stress (due to little DD not sleeping through the night from birth to 3). See how it goes, then maybe best to go and put your mind at rest0 -
El, you know I am pretty good at nagging, so get yourself sorted, otherwise I will have to go into full nag nag naggity nag mode, and there will be no let up.....
Right, I have a confession - with some of my bonus I bought a cheap treadmill off ebay.......have just done my first half hour on it and so far I am very pleased with it.
I can't always get out for a run, due to one thing or another, but now I have no excuses.
:j
That's it. Bonus all gone for another year.
Taxi sometimes the financial cost an item can cost us can make us so much richer in health and happiness that it is worth the pennies ten times over. You are obviously going to use it lots so don't feel bad at all x

:j to the treadmill
Boots are my downfall - I love them, they hate me - one day I will find a pair that are as comfy as my slippers.
Elantan - Dizzy spells....there is a virusy thing doing the rounds that involves dizzy spells - I had it for nearly 2 weeks.... so it may just be that but better to be safe than sorry."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -
