My WW pedometer is fabby - when you set it up, you enter your weight etc, and it works out how many steps you need to do just to be "healthy" each day.....so at my current weight, it is just over 6300 per day. Once I reach that figure, it then starts earning extra points - roughly half a point for every 1500 steps over "healthy".......every week, it asks you to re-enter your weight and it calculates how many steps you have to do now to be healthy, and you will then need to do more before you earn each point - the more weight you lose, the more steps you have to do to earn a bonus!

Ooh that sounds fab! Should mean I've banked about 3 points then today and about 8 for the week so far
I'm not spending them, just wanted an idea of how many it was, thank you

according to the WW website, you should only bank 12 points, and then should eat more to use up any over and above that, otherwise you are not eating enough so your body goes into starvation mode and holds onto the calories and you don't lose weight.
That makes sense, because last week I banked far more than 12, by a combination of not eating my points, and doing extra walking, and yet I didn't lose any weight.....Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Well, strangely enough, I did my banking before I came on here this morning.....hmm wonder why :rotfl:
And I am pleased to report that my bonus is inI can repay my Mum, and the money I have spent recently on the 0% card, get 12 months tax on the car, and get the garden finished so I am more than pleased with that :T
It is a shame I had to pay tax and NI - otherwise I would have been able to wipe out a whole load of debt, but as it is, I will have to hope the Government do something sensible with it instead. Yeah, right!
So, a good start to the day - once I have made the payment to my mum, I will amend my signature and it will be a very pleasing thing to do!
Off to scratch now, hope you all have a good day.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
