they got further contact and after asking for it back, then changing their mind, they have now decided to get their local PO to speak to my friends local PO to sort it out !! they sound genuine enough would just have been nice if they could see it from my friends point of view and not presume she was scamming them .

Yes - it's beginning to sound like a bit of local PO naivety, isn't it.
Funny though - that most instances of Postal Order fraud has only started since the new, secure ones were introduced! Progress!If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !0
