Yet another courier q.. sorry

Sorry. I know this has probably been covered 100 times before, but:

I sold a toddler bed and mattress this morning, the bed is self assembly and will package into a 77cm box which is within the courier requirements.. the mattress is toddler sized and obviously the length of the bed itself at 174cm. I can't find a courier who will take the mattress as well, without it whacking the price up to £70 for delivery!

I don't particularly want to send the mattress folded as that may warp it.. and when I bought it myself, it was sent via courier, free delivery from Kiddicare. They surely must have a cheaper way.. anyone got any ideas or recommendations?

Thanks
