money transfers abroad

I have come across this site.

They will transfer your money into anothe currency and deposit it abroad into you foriegn bank account.
Has anyone dealt with these?
They seem to be big business.

If you're transferring large sums of money abroad, you might want to look at some of the old threads in the Dealing with Money and Current Accounts board, or ask someone up there.

I used Currencies Direct to transfer a sum of money abroad and paid via debit card. It took 4 days. My mate did the same via the Halifax and paid I think £12. More or less the same exchange rate and a day quicker - plus easier than scanning this and emailing that. MSE says CDirect are cheaper than high street banks by far. Is this still the case??
I have more to transfer so replies would be useful.0
