Item not received case has confused me

Hi guys
I bought 7 items off the same seller, paid in one go. I received the package but one item was missing. Contacted seller, no response so opened a case on Ebay (not paypal) for item not received. Seller has now said they will send a replacement, then 2 minutes later an email saying I have been refunded, then another email saying I have been refunded in full (for all items) and could I pay again for received items. I just want the item I have paid for! All the items are pretty useless without the missing one (items for a gift)
What should I do? I can't seem to pay again for the 6 items I have received. Seller doesn't seem to understand the item was missing from the package.

Oh and when I opened the case I said I wanted a replacement, not a refund.0

send the seller a message asking what he now wants you to do as you're confused as to what's happened.Almost everything will work again if you unplug it for a few minutes, including you. Anne Lamott
It's amazing how those with a can-do attitude and willingness to 'pitch in and work' get all the luck, isn't it?
Please consider buying some pet food and giving it to your local food bank collection or animal charity. Animals aren't to blame for the cost of living crisis.0
