My debt is with a debt management company can i claim?

Hello,

Was hoping you guys could help me. When I was 18/19 got into quite a bit of debt through gambling.
Ended up putting all the debt i owed to be managed by a debt management company. The loans and credit cards have mostly been sold to debt collectors now and are not with the banks anymore. I just deal with my debt management company who keeps them sweet.
Im sure i was mis-sold my loan and my credit cards.

How do i go about trying to claim now? who do i try and claim from?

Hi there Stuart

Was you mis sold the PPI to the loan and credit card?

Just as long as you still have the account numbers to these accounts, you can reclaim with whatever reasons you were mis sold the PPI.
It makes no difference if your debt was passed on to a debt management company, you will probably find though if successful the refund may be refunded towards the debt, even if there is a payment plan in place - to help reduce the arrears.
And if anything remaining - should be refunded directly back to you, but it may vary from one debt management to another, as they may have their own ways.
