Advise please: Selling new and old items on carboot sale

I have done two car boot sales so far this summer, mainly stuff we no longer need or use anymore and have done pretty well.
Now my husbands aunts neighbour gave us a few boxes of items since she was moving house and she wanted to get rid of things. In the past she has done a few car boot sales herself so we found a few brand new items in the boxes for us. Small purses with Hello kitty, Dora the explorer and Winnie-the-pooh. Also some pretty small wooden trinket boxes 3" x 3" painted in girly pink and purple colours etc.
I'm doing another car boot sale next weekend and I don’t know if it is a good idea to include the new items. Will it put people off to buy new items that are on a table next to old used stuff?
Or should I bring them with me but only put one or two on the table and add another one if the first ones sell?
Might sound like silly questions but I'm not yet that experienced to car boot sales and I have not had a chance to check out what other people do since I have been selling on my own.

Hi
Ive done a few boot sales and sold both new bits, mainly unwanted gifts and mad bad impulse buys!!! next to old odds and ends and never found it puts people off. The only thing you may find is that they want the new stuff for used stuff prices.

We have sold both new stuff and old - if you have two items the same I usually only put one out and say it was an unwanted gift and is new but to be honest it doesnt really matter.
Could you use them for presents for someone? Dora is quite popular at the moment and Winnie the Poo is a classic so you should definately get a buyer.

Thanks, thats good to know. Pricewise the items probably wont sell for much as new anyway. Probably goes at 1.00- 2.50 each.
Thanks, allthough we were given the items I do hope for a fair/good price. I have about 16 of each item to sell. Save as presents would have been a good idea but there is no girls in our family and the boys ar all under 3 so a bit too young (might save a winney-the-pooh or two now you mention it, till they get old enough:) )BargainJunky wrote:We have sold both new stuff and old - if you have two items the same I usually only put one out and say it was an unwanted gift and is new but to be honest it doesnt really matter.
