Hi just a quick question, cos i think ive miss understood something.
When the new tax year comes round and your entitled to another cash isa does this mean you can open another while still having the cash isa from the previous year, or is it simply just replacing the one you had from the year before?

You can open another or add your 2010/11 allowance to the same account.

Thats what i thought, but i had a letter from the bank i have my cash isa with and it was saying something along the lines of if i keep my cash isa for this next year, that i will be using up my 2010/11 entitlement. Its probably me miss reading the letter as i was in a rush at the time0
