I did a City and Guilds Electronic Servicing part I, II and III course insead of A levels in the late 80's. Is there any way I can work out what the UCAS points are for this course - I need to tell a potential employer.
Thanks

Unfortunately, unless the qualification is on the UCAS tariff list it doesn't have UCAS points associated with it. Is there a reason that your employer wants the UCAS points? What is probably of more use is the City & Guild Qualification comparison table which can be found HERE0

There is a UCAS points calculator here:

Its not my employer - I wish to make an application but they want like 300 UCAS points in order for you to qualify to apply. Apparently getting a first in my IT software engineering degree is not enough (roll of the eyes).0 -
It sounds like you're going for a graduate level job if they want to know UCAS points? I'm assuming since you did your City & Guilds qualifications in the 80's, you might have a lot of experience already so would that position really suit?
Contact them and explain the situation, as mentioned there isn't an equivalent so that's your best course of action.0 -

Sorry for being cryptic - I have had a career change - left my old job - went to Uni - got my degree. I am applying for graduate jobs and I have contacted this company and told them of the situation but it seems they get a short circuit when the UCAS points are mentioned. Bit silly really.
I will put in the application regardless and if they reject me on this basis - I will contact them again.0
