strange connection question

in Techie Stuff
can't connect via IE.initially i thought maybe nthell were the cause but lights on modem were fine and then i tried opera and got online straight away.never had THIS problem b4.ne suggestions????

an hour and half of no IE and it suddenly works.wud still b interested why i cudn't connect thru it tho.0

nope.only the 'page cannot be displayed'.it was as if i HAD lost the connection but hadn't0
