Hmm, interesting....If I sell the fitness DVDs on eBay after copying to the PC, I might make back what I bought them for...

Linda, how did you guess? And Pint's parents are away tonight too......think Pint was quite happy this morning

Of course he was happy! They always are after being 'serviced'!

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

The figleaves and ample bosom stuff was gorgeous, but I've never spent more than £20 on a bra, I have palpitations at going above a tenner!
I'm the same. Have you tried Simply Be/Ambrose Wilson? They have some 2 pack bras which are 'plain', for each day use not frumpy and well priced.

Ok, embarassing question, what are 'Brazilian' pants, it it a thong? How comfy are they?

goes off to google as I'm so out of the loop on this gold star malarkey and associated items in preparation for gold star activities it could mean anything to me

Ames, brazilian knickers are kind of half way between a thong and a brief, they show a lot of 'cheek' but they're not dental floss. Usually quite low cut too.

    This sort of shape:

    That's my bum, obviously... :rotfl:

Thanks Snaggles, they don't look too bad. I don't know why the stores can't show the back as well as the front!

I just put two bras and four pants into La Senza and then couldn't bring myself to pay the £33 total. I'll go back in a min and be stronger!

they kind of look like a cross between speedo style/high leg and 'boy short' style Ames. I'd probably like them - I can't wear the boy short type style that has been around lately.

I'm an aunty (OH's sibling is the parent, not my sibling). As a childless person it feels a bit strange. Been looking at the nappy cake thread and you tube. Going to go to ASDA after the traffic dies down to buy some nappies and have a go :) I got some soft toy glove puppets at Mr T's a few weeks ago, and a new silver baby hairbrush set about 2yrs ago in a charity shop (that present box knows it will come in handy sometime).

I had a bargain today - Marie Curie charity shop selling lots of handmade cards at 4 for £1 - worth adding to your stash so my baby card cost £0.25 :j

Snags, they look lovely! I'll be having to buy me some of them when I've lost more weight. My knickers alays seem to be one or two sizes lower than my clothes....wonder why.

And yes Lin, that was probably why he was happy....and now he's down the pub but will be making HM burgers...yum yum yum...later though.

Also watching Simpsons, only Bart could write an opera about beans and farting and get away with it.
