I loved Spooks - not the first series couldn't get into it, but OH got me hooked on it eventually and then I was the one really upset when it came to such a tragic end - none of them could survive could they!!

    in terms of good telly....

i am mostly liking Glee.... Being Human.... the secret millionaire.... and that's probably all i am watching at the moment, altho being human is feeneeshed now... so thats sad.

and the secret millionaire, is gettting a wee bit contrived now, as i think if i worked for a voluntary organisation and some random turned up with a camera crew out of the blue, wouldnt you be a bit suss? of course you would... i think one time someone did say, "are you one of them secret millionaire types" but the volunteers must think it, mustn't they? or do they not watch telly?

    Drop a brand challenge
on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
    10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
    20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)

    :rotfl:Well it's a good step.

Don't watch much TV either, do like...

Dr Who (not convinced about new guy yet though, we'll see)
House (been renting first series from Lovefilm)
Shameless (OH bought the box set of series 1-6 so watching it from the start)
    Raymond Blanc cookery thing
Erm.. can't think of anything else we actually switch the TV on for at the moment!

Best thing I've watched in ages was http://www.amazon.co.uk/GBH-DVD-Nellie-Violet-Clark/dp/B000F9REZU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1269005783&sr=8-1 - on DVD, and that's nearly 20 years old!

  • Afternoon all,

I'm sat at my desk giggling over the comments on here!

Pooky - congratulations on the DLA award. :j:j

Luc - good luck for the phone interview.

Bunny - I'm glad your friend is feeling better and you sound more positive today. Have a great weekend in Blackpool.

I love Spooks. My top tv programmes are:

    - CSI
    - Mythbusters.
    - House
    - Bones.
    - Cold Case.
    - Spooks.
    - Dr Who.
    - The 7 ages of Britain.
    - Come Dine with Me.
    - Two and a Half Men.
    - Saturday Kitchen/Rachel Allen Bake and Ace of Cakes.

I think it's sad that the majority of my 'top tv' are American.

    Cx

Doctor Who tends to depend on who wrote the episode, and the guy who has taken over wrote some of my favourite episodes, so fingers crossed it will still be good.

Wonders is on at the moment (well, not right THIS moment) - episode 2 was on Sunday on BBC2 (think it's repeated on a Tuesday) and is on iPlayer now. It's fascinating and scary and overwhelming and nerdy...what more could you ask for (except a nerdy and sexy presenter....oh wait, it's got that too!). :T
