when tenants are moving out and a family

member is doing the changeover but the owner is paying back the deposit (the owner is on holiday ) so cannot be there on the day so as soon as he gets the ok that the property is fine he sends out a cheque is is ok if the deposit money gets to them a few days after the inventory has been done. we dont want to annoy our tenants who were quite nice. thanks in advance.

What is the question? I may be being dim here, are you asking if it's alright to do that? If so I can't see any reason why not although if I were you and I wasn't going to be on holiday an unusual length of time (ie over 2 weeks) I would let check out occur and send cheque out on my return.0
