Santander Online Credit Card Service

Was very sure I had entered the registration details correctly but got a "failed to authenticate" error message.

Rang Santander and was told that their system has been working up and wrongly rejecting correct log-in details, so had to get log-in details re-set and re-sent and was told to call them before I next register.

As an aside, their telephone system is bonkers. Twice I selected the credit-card option only to be told that I had come through the bank account section and no they could not help me so would I please call another number. Which, believe it or not, did exactly the same (wrong) thing. Just unbelievable.

    I wish it was unbelievable but it is Santander.

    Trying to be slightly positive I had the same problem with the online login but, although it took a while for the new details to arrive, it did get sorted. Also managed to speak to someone in this country (he even gave me his extension number to call back) and had a bit of footy talk while he was trying to work out what was going on.
